EA only produced 1,000 copies of the Dead Space Ultra Limited Edition, making it a highly sought-after collector's item.
When the original Dead Space game released in 2008, EA also released an Ultra Limited Edition version on Xbox 360 for $150. The old Dead Space games are available to purchase for reasonable prices both physically and digitally, though the Ultra Limited Edition is going for crazy prices. The Dead Space remake announcement has renewed interest in the sci-fi survival horror franchise in general, with fans returning to the original Dead Space trilogy of games while they wait for news on the remake.
